Nature made the print. Alice made the dish.

The Hazel B Leaf Dish is one of the most personal pieces in the Alice Clay Art collection. Each one is lovingly handmade in our family pottery in the Scottish Borders using a real hosta leaf grown right in Alice’s back garden, pressed into the porcelain to leave its bold, sweeping vein pattern permanently captured in the clay. But this dish carries more than just a leaf print. It carries a name and a memory.

Hazel is no longer with us. But she left her mark in the way that the people who truly matter always do. Whole, deep, and impossible to fill. These dishes are named in her memory, a reminder that the people we love leave prints on us the way a leaf leaves a print in clay. Permanent. Beautiful. Entirely their own.

Every Hazel B Leaf Dish is completely unique because every leaf is completely unique. No two are ever the same. And in that way, they feel like the right tribute to a person who was entirely one of a kind.

Use it to hold jewellery, coins, crystals, or simply let it sit somewhere you will see it every day. A bespoke piece for any room. A reminder of all the people who leave whole spaces where they have been.
