Nature made the print. Alice made the dish.

The Handmade Oatmeal Leaf Dish is a beautiful and generously sized piece from the Alice Clay Art collection, lovingly handmade in our family pottery in the Scottish Borders using a real leaf collected on Alice’s walks in nature. Pressed into the clay to leave its vein pattern and natural form permanently captured, then fired and finished in a warm, earthy oatmeal glaze that gives this dish a rustic, organic quality that feels completely at home in a natural, witchy or simply beautiful space.

The scalloped leaf edge and the central vein detail running across the bowl give it a sculptural quality that makes it as beautiful empty as it is full. Wide and generous enough to hold a collection of crystals, a bundle of palo santo, a handful of tumblestones, or a display of jewellery, it works equally well as a purely decorative piece that simply sits on a surface and earns its place by being extraordinary.

No two are ever the same because no two leaves are ever the same. The oatmeal glaze adds its own variation too, settling differently across each piece and making every dish its own original.

Heat safe and completely practical as well as beautiful. A bespoke piece for any room or altar and a genuinely unique object that will never be replicated.
