Not today, thank you. Return to Sender is a protection spell built around a little mirror in the lid, turned outwards to reflect away what isn’t yours. Black salt, cloves and black peppercorns, traditionally used for protection and banishing, sit alongside shiny hematite and a hand-rolled black beeswax candle.

Afterwards, keep the hematite by your door as a quiet guardian. Ideal for clearing the air after a difficult week, a tricky situation or simply too much noise.

Candle safety

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Burn on a heatproof surface, away from draughts and anything flammable.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • If burning in the tin, remove all other contents first. The tin gets hot, so let it cool before touching.
  • Herbs are not for consumption. Contains small parts.

Dressed Candle Cautions

General Candle Safety – Never leave a burning candle unattended. – Always burn candles within sight and on a heat-resistant, stable surface. – Keep away from flammable materials, children, pets, and drafts. – Trim the wick to 5mm (¼ inch) before each burn to prevent high flames and soot. – Do not move a burning or recently extinguished candle—glass or wax may be hot. – Allow wax to cool completely before relighting. Special Note for Dressed Candles Due to the herbs, oils, and botanicals used in these candles, they may burn more quickly and fiercely than regular candles. Burn with extreme caution. Flames may rise higher or flicker unpredictably. Never leave these candles unattended, and consider using a fire-safe dish or bowl underneath to catch any falling embers or herbs.
