Each one is lovingly handmade in our family pottery in the Scottish Borders using a real beech leaf collected on one of Alice’s nature walks, pressed into the porcelain to leave its delicate vein pattern permanently captured in the clay. The result is a dish that carries the exact fingerprint of a single leaf, one that existed once, in one place, on one walk, and will never exist in quite that way again.

The detail is quietly extraordinary. Every vein, every gentle curve, every fine line that carried life through that leaf is now permanently part of this dish. Beech leaves have a particularly elegant, elongated form that lends itself beautifully to the leaf dish shape, and the vein pattern they leave in the porcelain is fine, intricate, and completely stunning.

No two are ever the same because no two leaves are ever the same.
