The Large Handmade Mandala Ceramic Platter is a genuinely breathtaking piece from the Alice Clay Art collection. Lovingly handmade in our family pottery in the Scottish Borders, this large statement platter is covered in an intricate hand stamped mandala pattern that spirals outward from the centre in layer after layer of geometric detail. The deep blue, grey, and gold glaze settles into the pattern in a way that makes every ridge and indent of the design feel almost luminous, shifting as the light catches it from different angles.

At roughly 30cm across this is a platter with real presence. Generous enough to use as a fruit bowl, a key dish, a centrepiece, or a display piece for crystals and altar objects. And because it is heat resistant, it works beautifully as an altar platter for candles, palo santo, smudge sticks, and incense cones, making it as practical for spellwork and ritual as it is stunning to look at.

The mandala pattern is one of the most sacred symbols in spiritual tradition, representing the universe, wholeness, and the infinite cycle of energy. Having one this size and this beautiful at the centre of your altar is its own kind of intention.

As with all handmade pottery, patterns and colours may vary slightly between pieces, which only adds to the sense that what you are getting is entirely your own.

A statement piece for any room and any practice. The kind of thing that becomes the thing everyone asks about.
